How It Works

Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Click here to start a return! Our team will contact you after submission with the next steps. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us  same day if you notice an issue with your order.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain items cannot be returned: such as perishable goods (ie. food, flowers, or plants), custom products (ie. special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products ie. cosmetics). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
Exchanges accepted for products purchased at “The Hair Vixens” will be issued a store credit available from the “my account” section of our website . (login required)

Returns 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return with the final steps to receive your return credit.

Appointments & Scheduling

Health History and Illness
For the safety of The Hair Vixens we must ask about fungus, skin conditions and allergies. We will keep track of these answers in a client file; which clients fill out during their first appointment. Please when completing the waiver and personal info form do not to leave anything out, even if you think it’s not a big deal,”.

Sick Day
Sick day you may be asked to wear a mask or even be turned away. Illness in the shop results in canceled appointments and spreads it to our families, as well as exposing those who may have compromised immunity.

We love our clients! We also understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments.

We kindly ask that you give us a minimum 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Deposits that are made are non-refundable. If an appointment is not rescheduled or cancelled within the 24-hour period, you will be charged 100% of the full scheduled service price.

We make sure every guest is made aware of our No-Show/Late Cancellation Policy when scheduling an appointment over the phone or through online booking. We will secure each guest’s billing information on file prior to scheduling any service.

When an appointment is missed we will automatically charge 100% of the scheduled service price to the card on file

If necessary, the next appointment cannot be scheduled without amending the missed or late-cancelled appointment (including missing appointments due to late arrival)

When a No-Show/Late Cancellation occurs, it takes large blocks of time that impact our hairstylists and other guests. We understand that sometimes things happen, however, we try to respect our hairstylists’ time as much as we try to respect yours.

We understand, life is crazy and things happen. However, if you are late to appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and full payment must me paid.

We will do what we can to get you in as soon as we can on the next available appointment.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re going to be late. No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be applied. (See above policy)

We require a consultation prior to all new guest hair color services.

This consultation allows the Hairstylist and the guest to discuss the vision and pricing for the hair color service.

If there is something that you do not love about your hair, we want to make it perfect for you! Please let us know same-day if you are not satisfied. 

As a community focused salon, The Hair Vixens welcomes families and children. However, due to time and safety considerations, the client being serviced should be the only one present at time of service.

If special accommodations are needed for client to bring ONE additional person, the client should contact The Hair Vixens in advance to receive permission by the stylist.

The only animals permitted inside of The Hair Vixen’s premises are approved service dogs.

Law of the South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology permits no other animals within the salon. We can’t allow them inside, and we don’t want you to leave them in the car, so please, leave them at home.

When The Hair Vixen’s ask for a client’s health history and credit card information, it’s imperative to assure the client that we will keep personal information secure.

Only upper-level management, which includes myself, the receptionist and salon manager, has access to client information.

The Hair Vixen’s computer and booking system both require traceable log-ins, allowing us to see what was accessed and who accessed the information.

The information is never sold or shared; it’s always kept private for their protection. “That’s my golden rule.”

In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup is available for All purchases from customers located within (100) milesPickups are available 8a-7p Monday - Saturday.

Free Shipping

We offer free 1-3 days standard, custom orders are 7-10 days shipping on Orders $50+ and up.
